About

The Welsh Obstetric Medicine Society (WOMS) was founded in early 2021 by a group of trainees from different specialty backgrounds who share a mutual interest and passion for improving the medical care of pregnant women and their babies in Wales.

We identified that a forum for case-based discussion could provide opportunity to learn from health care professionals’ experiences and educational events could help disseminate up-to-date information and resources for managing medical problems in pregnancy.
